On behalf of the TPTA Board I'm excited to announce this year Gatlinburg, Tennessee is our host city for the 2008 Annual Tennessee Public Transportation Association (TPTA) Conference and Expo which will be held November 11-14 at the Glenstone Lodge, 504 Historic Nature Trail, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.

Amid the splendor of the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg embodies the simple goodness of small town life. The adjacent Great Smoky Mountains National Park, now boasting over nine million visitors annually, has transformed Gatlinburg into a mountain resort destination, with dozens of local and national restaurants, and attractions galore.

This year's conference will feature informative workshop topics, dynamic speakers, innovative technology, prominent elected officials, premier manufacturers and new transit equipment.
